    This is absolutely wonderful. The rocks and tree are like waterfalls pouring their light into the black water which then tumbles down the rapids.

    Thanks you Brian. I have been driving over a bridge watching this scene develop for about a month. The US Forest Service had the road closed into this area most of last year but to my surprise it was open the day I shot this. Saves a 3 mile steep hike but now I wish they had left it closed. To my dismay some bunch of boneheads have gone down there and tagged up the rocks, I'm talking 3 foot high lettering (gang stuff). It was not like that last year when I was there. Will never be the same even if they try to paint over the mess.

    Jim, that is one unique and beautiful location. I'm guessing it may have been difficult to get to and shoot; point of view, staying safe and warm not to mention controlling your excitement. Excellent!
