Well if it was at all purposeful, you did a good job, and if it was totally by accident, it's still an amazing image and I fortuitous one, I think the tones are lovely.

I once did something similar with old film and also didn't leave it in the CD long enough, but your tones are much richer.

Fall of 2008, Smokey Mountains, Graphic View with Componon 150 mm on .EDU Ultra (Fomapan) 100 in Parodinal 1:50 -- sorry, exposure and exact development aren't handy.
If a contact print at arm's length is too small to see, you need a bigger camera. :D

Here's one that's been hanging in the living-room since 2008. I "redecorated" a couple of days ago and replaced it with a more recent composition. But IMM it is still a strong image and have always enjoyed seeing it. I have space over the sofa for two images of this size (16x20 mounted to 22x28) but the other is a portrait oriented composition which wouldn't match with a landscape oriented image such as this:

Technical: Toyo 4x5cf with 90mm lens on Acros printed on Oriental Fiber paper.

Found a spot! It will fit above the ledge separating the living room from the kitchen. I could get another 22x28 next to it but they would be too close due to a surround speaker I have mounted in that area. But another 16x13 (8x10 print) would work there as well an another 16x13 on the opposite wall above the desk. That leaves me with enough wall space to get 3 22x28 portrait oriented B&W prints above the sofa. I have a wonderful 4x5 negative of a icy and snowy Bridal Veil Falls that would work well as the center piece which leaves me needing two more 22x28 verticals for that wall. Since the centerpiece is a winter scene, it would make sense to stick with a winter theme for the flanking prints. I'm glad that the winter season is approaching!

Re: What did you compose at Waters Edge?

Since I have the space I decided to print the middle image (the waterfall) at 20x24 and flank it with 2 appropriate images printed at 16x20.
