Yes it is - I keep coming back to it.
Love the image - you captured this scene wonderfully. Since I am just a above your location (south central VA) it looks like home to me.

5x7 is a pretty sweet format.
We need a Like button - I too like the 5x7 format. A 4x5 cropped to 3.6x5 enlarged gives a similar look. I created a mask/viewer that fits the back of my glass to be able to see different formats while in the field.
The mountain waters of North Georgia call out to me, I visit and leave only tripod holes behind. The Appalachian Trail is my treadmill and gym.

Thanks! Yes the aspect is unique and camera size desirable. The contact prints are also a very nice size.

Great stuff Holden! Another 5x7 user here - recently acquired a 150 G-Claron to go between a 120 and 210...but somehow I think something more "165-ish" would fit perfectly, both visually and proportionally. So...you like your Paragon?

I do but it only stops down to f/32 so I have a K2 on it to give it a stop more. Not in a shutter, if you're not afraid of barrel lenses its a bargain. I only own a couple lenses in shutters and I infrequently use them. I think your 150 sounds ideal if it covers. I may yet get one for my 5x7. I will keep an eye out for your photographs...

4x5" Portra, I forget which lens but probably 210mm.
Is there a story behind the hat, vest and shoes that you are withholding from us?
