I really like that second photo! Serene and subtle.

It's not a big water's edge, but the tripod is wet, so here it is. This is a small cascade in Wallace State Park in Washington. TriX with 210 mm lens and #8 filter.

    Pali,

Thanks, the second one was taken using Provia. I probably would have tried Velvia 50, but that would have extended the time to over 12 seconds and I did not want to "fight" any possible wind.

    JP,

    Thanks also.

Here are a couple more close up images taken at water's edge. Both taken in the same area only taken a year or two apart. There is an area in Zion that I check every time I am there as the conditions are always changing. Unfortunately, they changed drastically this year due to flooding and the area has pretty much turned into a sand bar. Maybe time will restore it to a semblance of what it was in the past. Both were taken with 8x10 Velvia 50 using a Fuji 300 5.6.

Jim these are so beautiful and I can only imagine they look even more stunning on the transparencies. Keep these coming.

Makes me want to go out and shoot slides but all I have is boring frozen landscapes around me right now.
