That spot in Acadia is called Little Hunters beach. I was there a month or so ago, it's a nice spot. you must have hiked up the bank on the left to get that perspective - nicely done. A little tilt would have been better for getting near-far focus, than hyperfocal (though that helps too).

You're probably right about the tilt. Anyway, I definitely learned a lesson that day.
Thanks also for pointing out the official name of the beach.

After taking the shot, I saw that Clyde Butcher did a very similar composition back in 2006, with a slightly wider lens. He titled the image "Acadia Pinnacles".

Enjoying the Acadia images.. I've been by some of these places by boat, but have never stopped to photograph.. I've only seriously photographed in the Schoodic portion of the park on the next peninsula. I did camp and shoot slide film in the main park in high school and will have to rescan those sometime... It was winter break and nobody was around, so I was pleased to hit briefly hit 75mph in the family car on some of the 25mph zones in the park.

Schoodic peninsula is very quite even during summer. Would love too see your images... I myself plan to go back for another photographic trip there.

The viewing platform and trail to this fall was damaged last year, but finally reopened recently. Apparently they just cleared the area and left it alone. I climbed up to the second tier of the falls and shot this image. Not a whole lot exciting at this waterfall but I thought this was a decent view.

It's not an attachment, just an inline photo, that is working fine for me.
