    Hello, from So. California

    Hi,
My name is "Sam" and I just signed in to this forum although I've been here many times...
I've been into Photography since high school (San Dimas High School Class of 1978)
So needless to say I've been shooting for over 30 years...
I bought my only View Camera (Zone VI 4x5) back in 1994...I used it quite a bit for several years but for the last five years it's been sitting in the closet...
I started shooting more MF but have been wanting to use the 4x5...
I have and can shoot 4x5 but prefer to shoot 120...I have a Calumet C2 120 film holder in a 6x7 format...
    I have 4 lenses for this body and all are Caltar...75mm, 90mm, 150mm & 210mm
Right now I'm looking for a 135/150 Schneider Xenar to use with B&W film...

Gotta go for now but looking forward to meeting all of you...
I see a few familiar names already so I know I should enjoy this place...

    Thanks...

I enjoy this forum very much. I also shoot 120 & 4X5, the latter with a Speed Graphic that my father bought in 1951, and the former with a TLR Rollei of a similar vintage.

    Welcome to the forum!
    I love shooting B&W 120 on my RSW with a 6x12 back.
I use my Nikon digital for color work.

    Best, Darr

    Gem,

I got your PM...I have a Caltar 150mm...I'm looking for an older lens...a lens with "The Look" a lens with character...something of the Tessar design...The Schneider Xenar should do it...Right now I'm stuck between getting a 135 or 150...I'll be shooting with my 4x5 but with a 6x7 back (Calumet C2)
