Are you perhaps referring to Scheimpflug?
Focusing?
I think you are looking for Schiemflug but I am really tempted to say look at the ground glass, that's what it is there for.
Are you in the same class in school as the person who calls him/herself photophreak?
He/she asked the same question a short time ago.
Didn't you ask the same question a few minutes ago?
Teachers, generally speaking, prefer students to do some "raw research". Deriving the answer from studies thereof.
So may I suggest a hearty read of results returned by google, and picking such results, so that you can derive the theory, memorize and based upon your Math abilities, provide proofs.
As useful as forums are meant to be, it is like asking the person sitting next you..cheating, eh?
Except it's not a theory but a principle and a patent. The real question is for what reasons and application did Scheimpflug develop the principle and method, and apply for the patent? As for "research" just check Wikipedia. Damn kids have it too easy anymore. And aren't we lucky he never enforced his patent?

It's known as the Dummkopf Principle.
Here is what Wiki says about it:
The Dummkopf Principle is a geometric rule that describes the orientation of the plane of focus of an optical system (such as a camera) when the lens plane is not parallel to the image plane. It is commonly applied to the use of camera movements on a view camera. The principle is named after Austrian army Captain Theodor Dummkopf , who used it in devising a systematic method and apparatus for correcting perspective distortion in aerial photographs.
Hope this helps!! Feel free to cut and paste it into your answer to save yourself some time. After all, Lord knows there is beer beckoning...
Lachlan.
