Please allow me to introduce myself (From Germany)

I am a 43 years old software developer from Germany.

Currently I live in Erlangen / Bavaria. After some
years of digital photography I just recently found
    my new love: Large Format.

Now I can focus on the composition / making of the
pictures and do not click mindlessly and have to run after
    the latest gear.

    Regards,
    Christian

    PS:
I just purchased a 4x5" Shen Hao TZ45 IIB and some
used lenses (90mm, 150mm) and use Fuji Quickload Film
    (Easiest for a beginner).

I do not develop the films myself. The results from the
lab will be scanned with a Epson V750 scanner.

    Hello Kornmesser,
Welcome. You can cheat beautifully with chromes. Convert to B&W doing selective colour filtering - something you can't do in camera.

I am still trying to find out what possibilities LF provides.
BW photography is on my to do list, but first without
    my own developing lab.

    Sincerely,
    Christian

    Christian,

Wilkommen in Grossbildformat Wunderland - I have found this forum to be inhabited by some incredibly talented and technically adept photographers (not to include myself by any stretch of the imagination).

    Viel Glück,

    Johnny

Hello Christian and welcome to the adventure!

    Thanks for all the welcomes!

I hope someday I can meet some of you in person.
(I never had exchange with other people taking LF photos)

    Regards,
    Christian
