Why no Polaroid 8x10 P/N 55 equivalent?

Here's a question I find I ask myself more and more: why is there no 8x10 equiva lent for Polariod P/N 55? I personally would love it.

Good question. I'd love it too. Guess there just hasn't been enough of us. I doubt that with Polaroid's current problems it's interested in entering any additional small-and-shrinking niche markets.
