    Looks like you have PhotoShop, though!

    I have a Diana Camera that gives me an image somewhat like the top one, but I don't think they made a LF version...

    Just shoot through one of those little peep-holes they put in hotel room doors. Same effect.

    LOL, thanks for the words of encouragement, guys. Was playing around with the new found ability to scan my 5x7 negs on a not-made-for-film flatbed scanner. Yes, used Photoshop to see what a couple of these might look like had I used a Petzval lens.....this one was particularly interesting.

    Now, if I wanted to "cheat" I could have this scanned professionally and print the negative on inkjet transparency and do the VanDyke print to get the warmth. But that's just not my style. I'll just have to play with the goodies I have and save up some money until an affordable Petzval style lens finds me. Until then, it's pretzels & beer!
