The same train as my last post, but from a very different angle:
I took this one from ground level, with lots of front rise. The Nikkor 90mm had coverage to spare if I had needed more.

Nice work, Bradley.
Wedgie? Is that a golf reference or should I be disturbed? ;-)
Thanks for the comments, y'all. I have a few more negs from this museum that I'll be scanning over the weekend.

LOL, wedgie as in the angle of perspective.
I don't often do wedgies, especially on sunny days, but have started experimenting with LF again. Here's one from last week near Ihlen, MN. Shot with Rodenstock 300mm, Shen Hao 4x5, orange filter, HP5. If the wind dies down enough, I hope to try to shoot it tonight with a bunch of flash.

I liked the glow of the dials inside the cab, and the two cities: one on the engine and one on the watertower. Shot with 6 inch Derogy Petzval on HP5. ICE engine in Jackson, MN, midnight.

Single scan of two 4x5 negatives taken in Goleta, Calif., near Santa Barbara, with a 7" unmarked Darlot-ish Gem-camera petzval lens on a Speed Graphic. I bought the lens from LFFer Garrett and it originally had a ~f6 washer-stop, which I removed, now making it about f4. Used a Speed Graphic and '03-outdated TMAX 100.
Both pics were taken a few minutes away, a few feet apart. The right-hand shot is of a train/track signal, and the 359.4 is the Union Pacific mile marker. (Trivia for other railfans.)

Very interesting shots- nice work!
