    Rebuilt Website...Suggestions?

    Merry Christmas Everyone,

My websith has been rebuilt and is now online. It looks a lot like the old site, but now I will be able to edit the content myself.

So...any suggestions? The images will change in the near future...what about appearence and ease of use, order of pages and so on...Centered text or justified...amything that comes t mind would be appreciated.

    Best Wishes to all,
    Drew Bedo

    Hi, Drew,

I've not seen your previous site, but I think this one is quite good. Straightforward and consistent navigation...with the nav bar available on every page. Left justified type is better, I think...and the white on black font is quite legible. Maybe in future, you'll get busy with a less structured direction in the site, but this current nav is easy on the user.

Just a thought....an opinion really. Many folks (especially these days) are completely unaware of the tools of, or even the existence of, large format photography....and they are surprised and intrigued at the LF equipment. So, perhaps add a few nice snapshots of your equipment and lenses on the "Process" page. Maybe a few still life shots of your tools would fit nicely.

Good luck and congratulations on the new site.

    Robt.

Stephie: Websith! Nice catch...I like it. Saw SW Ep IV when it first came out in '76 ('75?) and loved it then. Thanks.

Mr. T.: Thanks for your constructive comments. The previous site had the same look and set-up, but with the menu items across the top and bottom. I will think about putting some big camera show-and-tell on a page a little later. For now, I’ve got to shoot some and post new galleries.

The big change in this site is "behind the curten". Now I can pull the strings and change content at will. Again; Thanks.
