Those quartz veins run all through the granite across from Lake Tenaya. Needed to take a step stool to get up a little higher.

How beer did you have to drink to be able to wet it down so well?

That morning shot of the juniper is spectacular, Robert. Great composition and the dappled sunlight on the rocks gives it great depth.

    Hello guys and gals,
I've was given some fomapan 100iso 8x10 sheets
First time doing film, I've got only my DSLR to measure light, are they any advice you can share to shoot some close range landscape? (I uselly do wetplate)
I was told: spot measure on the shadows I want some details in and then underexpose by 2 stops (I develop with rodinal 1+50)
thank you , this thread is very inspiring!

    Hi nede,
That is how I shoot it too (shadows at -2), my EI is ISO 32. Don't forget about reciprocity failure with fomapan, that can get you to wetplate times quickly. A reasonably accurate list can be found here: http://consumptive.org/technical/Fom...ild_Effect.pdf
