    Incredible lighting... I love the contrast and extra dimension added by the cloud cover... The only thing I might have done differently is added a little more sky to the composition, or alternatively removed it all together. Having said that the composition as it stands is very pleasing...

    Very cool chris! the selective focus is neat and draws the eye to the subject.. I like it.

    Thank you Nicolas. It is hard to tell on the computer, but there was a dusting of snow on those upper layers. It was so cold that day, I could barely operate my camera!

    Definitely tough, especially when the light is changing every second-those shadows were moving fast! I can tell you though with confidence that the precise moment captured above was the very pinnacle of form and beauty on that day.

    John, the lighting is lovely. I think good backlit photos are hard to do.
