    Hi Tony,

Thanks! I'm jealous you live in such a wonderful area!! I live in flat Cambridge and the roads are lethal here too Funnily enough, I lived in Toronto as well - around 20 years ago - and suffered North American winters too.

Thanks Martin! It takes me time to see such images....I'm very old-school/wide-angle sort of guy normally.

Another image from a recent week's holiday to Snowdonia National Park, Wales. We walked towards Moel Ysgyfarnogod (can't pronounce it either) amongst the Rhinog mountain range and the maps labels lots of places "Piles of Stones". Damn understatement! Anyway, we had some weather that day (hail in the face etc.) and there's more coming towards me over the Irish Sea! (click for larger)

Contrary to appearances this is not an easy location to access.

Martin, Thomas and Graham, wonderful work on this page.

Every image I have seen of Wales increases my hope of visiting some day.

Its been a long time between photographing, having our first born can do that
After 18mths or so of no action, I finally had a chance to get back out there and take some shots.

It ended up being quite challenging, keeping my nerve as big waves cause sea spray to rise while balancing on a rock that didn't have more than a couple feet of space behind the tripod before the drop off. Add to that, the rising tide was threatening to close my path back up, so there was quite a bit on my mind!

Fortunately, I did successfully manage to get this shot - The Pinnacles | Phillip Island, AUS.
