Cool - what time of year was that? I am planning on going back, perhaps this week, with my 8x20 and standing right about in the bottom right corner of your image and shooting a panoramic image of the little cascade there with the falls in the background. I am hoping the leaves are starting be get in the water for some nice motion. I shot it with my 6x17 but want a big negative. for contact/alt printing.

November 26, 2015 Morning - from the deck. I raised my tripod high according to my notes. I think there was a bunch of trash in the rocks below that point.
I plan to go back there sometime too and reshoot with FP4 and develop in Pyro. This particular negative is a bit tough to print.
This week should be good with the rain and sudden temperature drop we just had. Be careful if going into the rocky area, the water is cold and that fall behind you is a killer.

Went out to the North Shore of Oahu when the waves were building on Friday.

Yeah I've been waiting on the rain. But yes the cold! I've got my heater going in the darkroom.

Nice one at the lower falls. I couldn't find a good composition when I was there, bad time of day. Helton is very nice, not much of a hike but that's good sometimes .

There's a saying about lemons and lemonade that applies to my recent trip out to Yosemite NP in northern Calfornia. I had clear skies and smoke in the park to contend with so I did the best I could. Here's a frontlit shot from Valley View right on the Merced River. Chamonix 045-F1 field camera, Fujinon 90mm lens, Ektar 100 film.
