I really like the 3-D like depth with the waterfall back in the cleft and the boulders out front in the foreground.

The view from Cowrock Mountain on the Appalachian Trail, near Tesnatee Gap. This was quite a slog up from the base of the gap as it gains quite a lot of elevation through many switchbacks. My wife and I went out and she was not really prepared for this in terms of footwear so she sat and rested as I sprinted up the last quarter mile to grab a few shots of this overlook with a wonderful cloud sweeping past, illuminated by the setting sun. The large mountain in the distance is the somewhat famous Yonah Mountain near Helen, GA, which I plan to summit soon.

Thanks all! I was glad that in the end it paid off to get to the summit.
