Both shows up fine -- great image. Perhaps a little heavy on the sharpening, but that is always difficult to judge without the print in front of me.

I'm glad somebody likes it. Yes, it appears to be oversharpened here, original full res. image looks better.
I could easily find myself standing in the same spot watching the light on the landscape. If I had gotten the camera out, I probably would have used my modified darkslide and taken just the top half of the image you took (a 4x10).
But I appreciate that you have shown us the ground we are standing on -- your image speaks more of the scrubland than my image would have...thus seems more complete.
Well, since I 've already figured out how to attach images, maybe another picture from Colorado vacations.
Taken with orange filter and 240mm Sironar N, 4x5 Shanghai film.
This one may look even more oversharpened, I need to learn how to resize photos in a right way.
Vaughn, I appreciate your comments. Thank you. Although I am a bloody damn amateur (BDA) and make pictures mostly for myself, I like to know what other people think about my work.
I like them too papageno!
You might get more responses next week when the forum is busier. Weekends are kind of slow.

I like them . Nice work.
Went to the beach at dawn Saturday morning, which I had planned to do after a week of sunny days tricked me into thinking I'd get some sunrise shots. It was heavy cloud cover and snowing lightly, which I think ultimately made for better results than if I'd had the sunrise.
