just arrived. I can see how the bracket screws in so that's no problem. It does not sit flat against the rear standard due to brackets on either side of the standard so it wobbles a bit. . Am I missing something?

I'd call Jeff at badgergraphics, or whoever who bought it from. The last thing you want to do is damage your gear.
