    Sunset, Oceanside Harbor

Thanksgiving Day. Temperature today 92. Crystal clear.

Oceanside, CA Harbor, last direct, golden rays as the setting sun was just touching the hills surrounding the harbor.

Old Nikon EM, Micro Nikkor AF 105mm f/2.8 at f/8, unknown shutter speed. Velvia 50.

I'm going to throw away all my other gear. This is from my 2-day-old iPhone X, first shot on the instrument, deep shade, late afternoon in the shadow of a building and shielded from skylight by overhanging trees. 16x20 print is razor sharp.

I love being in a room when the light is like this. It's so comforting. Great capture.

After six weeks in the car spa, we have new paint, new wheels and a new roof. Just in time to go into the garage for the winter.
