These flowers are growing all over my porch and my house. I think they are called "Angel's Trumpet" or something, at least colloquially. Some fresh rain last week inspired me to shoot this image.

That's got a real "tactile" feel to it, Bryan, for lack of a better word. It's like I can reach out and touch those flowers.

I'm glad you say that. The feeling of 3D-ness and "tactility" is one of the things I look for when using certain lenses and apertures to have just enough DOF to render that idea (I think I was at a little wider than f/8).
I agree with Jonathan. It has a great feel to it. The colors are nice. If this is more of a vine than a bush, I think I've seen it around here as well.
Yea I know the one. It's a very aggressive species. I had one cover a pergola and the trees around it. It had to be cut back so it wouldn't kill the tree. Great plant though.

Digiroid of a shot I am working on. This is against an unlit white sheet because I think I want it on a white BG when it's finished. Well, this is in process and I may be done and commit to film tomorrow, Wednesday. I just need to work out the "beauty" aspects and the BG.
C&C encouraged, please, no need to be gentle.
