    This is the time of year in my area where the temperature and humidity combine to make large rain clouds and afternoon storms.

    It's a reward for photographers: otherwise we have to follow Gene out west

    Waiting outside, checking if some plumbing I installed worked, I took out my cell phone and made an abstract image of the concrete foundation of the house.

    Ken, this has a notable sense of movement in it, due in part, I think, to the vertical opposition of the clouds and dark sky band. The lower, with is powerful dimensionality, appears to be closer to us at first, but then a dynamic ensues between them. Well done.
