Tripod Thread size for Gandolfi Traditional

Does anybody know the imperial tripod thread size of a 50 year old Traditional. I think it should be 3/8 but this is too large.

    Thanks

I'm not a Gandolfi expert, but tripod threads generally are either 3/8 inch or 1/4 inch. Sometimes they are 3/8 with a screw-in adapter to convert them to 1/4.

I have two, one 7x5" and one 10x8".

    One has 3/8", the other 1/4" threads. The 1950's 7x5" has 1/4".

Thanks Brian and Ole. I have lost the original, now to find a replacement :-)
