This soft focus photo (with 7.25 verito) is mostly a photo of memories though it is rich with shapes and patterns. Old lakefront cottage, towel for swimming, chair for supervising.
There isn't much I like better than a cabin with a porch with a chair.

    Silver Birches by Peter Brooks

P2 5x7, 300mm barrel Imagon with third disk wide open, 1/2 sec. Fomapan 100, Rodinal 1:50

Strangely I kind of like the artifacts in the background, a collection of little supernovas happening in the woods

I totally agree! Terrific use of the 300mm Imagon w/ disk!

BTW-I also like the look of the Kuhn bug artifacts in your image and I most always don't appreciate them. The artifacts probably work here because they are NOT caused by "pinpoint" light sources but instead caused by diffused sky lighting through openings in the branches.

    Wonderful image!

It's a happy family of Kuhn bugs right in the perfect spot. I generally don't appreciate them, but they look good in this photo. It's a great photo.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep, and full of Kuhn-bugs...

Many thanks for your kind comments. Luckily that little group of trees is about 200yds down the road. I've been studying them for a while. They seem to be an ideal pictorial subject - maybe just a little more softness required?

Not sure if this one counts, it's more stark black and whites than lovely Galli greys
