8x10 polaroid film is ridiculesly expensive. I have a polaroid filmholder but not the processor. I am willing to sell it since I will not use it.
However on ebay you can find polaroid film 8x10. Just expect to pay up to 250 dollars for per box of 10.

Unfortunately, the CEO and his top executives were more interested in stealing from Polaroid instead continuing any effort to make it a strong, viable company.

Basically, they screwed everyone to line their pockets.

I have holders and a processor, but haven't shot any film for over a year due to the cost.

Sure wish Ilford or Fuji would step up to the plate.
When I grow up, I want to be a photographer.

I have one unopened box of 809 polaroid, it's long expired but has been kept in cool storage. I also have a polaroid processor and holder.

call Karen McHugh over at Samy's in los angeles. She is in charge of the pro sales dept. There and they had quite a few boxes a month or two ago. They also do not mark up the prices of the Polaroid due to company policy. I think I bought the last box of type 55 and it was the same price as if they were still making it.

Wow, this is worse than the short-ends business in cinema! Backroom deals with dubious men in overcoats, a quick exchange of cash (weighed, not counted), and a quick getaway before 5-0 shows up.

Good thing I still have a case and a half of Type 55 being stored in a secret location. *ahem*

I hid mine so well that I fear I may not be able to find them again.
