I am as guilty of this as anyone else, but I think it speaks volumes about LF that in three long pages of photos the only people are a bunch of tourists and a choir.

Does anybody use LF to photograph a church actually being used?

No demands from my side, but it would be interesting to see how LF can show a living church rather than just a piece of heritage. I get the same inconsequential guilt when I chill out to renaissance polyphony: it's completely against the original intent of the creators, and yet 'normal'.

Blurred crowds processing around the Kaba in Mecca seem to have become an annual photographic cliché in our local press. I'm sure the other people of the book can come up with something equally expressive if they try :-)

The group of the Midwest Large Format Asylum (www.midwestlargeformat.com) has found its way to several churches in the past couple years. The first is the old Methodist Church in Gary, Indiana and the other three are from a small church in Kaneville, Illinois.
