Photo warehouse to release "New" B&W Sheet Film!

    From the Photo Warehouse site:

"New Ultrafine Plus films combine over a half century of cutting edge technology applied to the latest state-of-the-art film base, to create a fine grain film that is destined to become an instant classic. Available in 100 and 400 ISO, these emulsions are the finest on the market. We are introducing the 35mm and 120, with a full line of sheet film to follow."

They do not say WHEN or in what sizes the film will be available. Sounds a bit like Foma, but where is the 200?

Always good news to see an announcement for LF film!

It's probably Foma film. The 200 speed film rates at less than EI 100, so maybe they figured there's no point in offering the 100 and the 200. More likely, they just want to limit their product line and feel like 100 and 400 speed films cover their bases.

AFAIK, Foma does not offer its ISO 400 film in any sheet film sizes. Only the 100 and 200.

My guess would be that Photo Warehouse is probably buying a master roll and having it cut.

I thought I'd read somewhere that Fomapan 400 was available as sheetfilm in Europe. Could be mistaken about that. The 35mm and rollfilm formats are on a different base, so unless they're already manufacturing the 400 on the sheet film base, it wouldn't be offered. Maybe "full line of sheet film" refers to a range of sizes, or maybe they'd offer 100 and 200.
