    Full Plate Film Holder

I am on vacation, have nothing at all to do with this BUT there are four 6.5 x 8.5 Rittreck film holders for sale on ebay, # 140266808565; I apologize if this note is not within rules but I think this forum may have interested people. Bernie Kaye

A caveat for anyone who's looking at Rittreck WP holders - they're a bit longer than Eastman WP holders, and will not seat properly in many classic American WP cameras.

Do you happen to know the dimensions?

Steve, I have one in hand as I write this. It measures a hair over 235 mm from the taped end to the beginning of the rib lock. Width is just under 197 mm.

Thanks for this. The corresponding dimensions on the holders that came with my Seneca are 232mm from taped end to the start of the rib lock and 200mm width, rounded off very slightly. These are plate holders with the metal sheath inserts for film.

3mm would seem a lot to cut off the length. Good thing I've got a few that fit my camera!
