I'm researching this enlarger to find a reasonable price to pay for it. I friend of mine received one as a gift and never used it, so she's selling it. I want to give her a good price, but she owes me a fair price. This enlarger will be an upgrade from my Omega DII, which is still in very good condition, since I could do some color work with it.

I paid $1100 USD for one in 2000 and another for $600 USD in 2003. Both worked fine and came with extras like mixing boxes, lens cones, lens plates, turrets, negative carriers etc. Current price today? $350 to $500 USD. They made these from the 80s to the late 90s. I would pay more for a late model one.
Thanks, that's in the ball park of my estimate. Now to negotiate. Yes, she's my friend, but she's thinking $$$.
