Hi All. Haven't posted for a while - I have been very busy on other things. it's time we got these waterfalls back on page 1!
Here's a recent pic of mine from Carnarvon Gorge National Park in Queensland, Aust. This place is called Moss Garden.
    Velvia 50. Chamonix 45n-2, Nikkor 75 with CIR polarizer @ F32. 9 mins exposure.

Nice one Stef with velvia do you get a color cast did you have to correct the color cast in post processing.

Hi Dwarak. I hope all is well with you. We should all catch up again sometime!
I don't normally get a cast unless the film is massively expired. If anything a bit of a drift to cyan in the whites of water - that needs some correction.

That's right Stef good to know you don't get a cast with 9min from my experience with 35mm on a 30 sec exposure I get a bit of green cast which I can easily correct guess its a larger format so the results maybe different. The reciprocity for velvia is also so poor and yes we should catch up.

I think both are very great. But this last one has amazing clarity and color.

Both are real nice, Steph, but the second one is special. Nice work!

Here's one from Wildcat Creek in Yosemite...

Nice shot Preston. I found the Yosemite waterfalls very difficult to capture. But I was there only for 3 days and in October so there was not a lot of water. Although the granite had a lovely golden sheen to it. I like your composition. I must get back there one day!

This was my rather poor attempt! In my defence I had to fight for space with all the Germans trying to have a swim!
