Roll Scanner for 120 film different formats

Does anyone have any information on pro/consumer scanners that are available that can hanle up to 6x9 format or preferably 6x12 format. I have a ongoing project that requires decent up to 8x12 prints , but number one a scanner that is fast to use with already cut into strips.
I do have flat beds here but they are painfully slow. I am talking about upwards 10thousand images per year.
Also this scanner should be dead simple , so that the normal 12yearold can operate.

    any help would be appreciated

The only currently available pro/consumer scanner that is not a flatbed, for your film size is the Nikon Super Coolscan 9000ed. It is fairly fast, depending on the resolution you choose, and it takes 120 film cut into strips. There was a similar model from Minolta (now discontinued) which you may find available used, and there is a Microtek Artixscan 120f which I think has been discontinued, but there are vendors that still have it. These three, the Nikon, Microtek and the Minolta (don't know the model) are the only "under $2000" pro/consumer 120 size film scanners that have been available in the last few years.

While they all should work for a 6x9 image, you may have to take 2 scans and join them for 6x12, I'm just not sure, as I don't shoot 6x12.

The Nikon 9000 will handle a 6x9 with ease.

I scan my 6x12's using a 120 holder on my Epson V750 with ease.

    8x12" prints or 8x12' prints?

Re: Roll Scanner for 120 film different formats

    Hi Gene and Walter

    thanks for the replies

    8" x 12" max size good quality,

Does this machine have a roll film gate for ease of operation?
I have a couple of flatbed and Imocan options here but neither is a fast with uncut rolls. Setting marquees is a pain and time consuming.

Typically how long would a 6x7 8bit scan take at lets say 300dpi.?
looking for 1-8 mb files depending upon usage.
Does this scanner have easy software for tone correction, colour correction and does it have a dust recognizing software like (ice) which minimises surface dust??

    all help is really appreciated
