    Looking for readyload film...

Can anyone suggest the best place to purchase B&W readyload film packs? I can't find them locally and I went to one place on the web that wanted to charge almos t $9.00 for shipping one box. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If you could find any at all you were doing well, and $9 is about the normal shipping charge. Kodak is in an interim period where the old two sheet Readyloads have been discontinued and are no longer available and the new single sheet Readyloads are supposed to come onto the market shortly but aren't there yet. Places I've spoken to say that even after the new ones come on the market it will be a while before they are readily available because the dealers have so many back orders for them. I'd grab anything you can get at this point.

If you are in the USA, try calling Southwestern Camera Company, 713-880-1339 and ask for Jeff Nixon or Jeff Copp. They don't have much much but they do have some of the double sheet packs. Please pass on my regards.

try B&H photo at 1-800-606-6969 or http://www.bhphotovideo.com/ - and buy more than one box at a time :-) i try to keep between 10 and 20 boxes on hand all the time.

Thanks for the suggestions. I think I'll go ahead and get several boxes to put aside. I just started large format and don't have many holders so I thought readyloads would be a better way to go for the time being. Thanks again.
