    Greetings from the Bay Area

Just wanted to stop and say hello. I joined recently and have been scanning the forums like crazy. Lots of interesting reading so far. I originally started shooting digital 4 years ago but ever since I got my hands on a monorail LF camera at my school a year ago I've been very facinated. I don't have my own 4x5 quite yet but I hope to get a setup very soon. Anywho, I look forward to the future posts on this forum and if I will do my best to contribute to it.

Here's my only 4x5 shot that I've had a chance to scan. One of my passions is railroading, so here's a shot of a train running along the Carquinez Strait near Crockett, CA on a beautiful sunny afternoon. Shot with Provia 100f.

The East Bay is a good place to be for trains. Almost as many trains as there are large format users 8-)
