    4x5 sleeves?

What kind of sleeves do you use for 4x5 negatives? Where do you buy them? I would like to get something like the lab provides when I get my E6 processed. I store my sleeved processed film in four-on-a-page Print File sheets and put those into plastic storage boxes. Since I am going to start developing my own film, I need the individual sleeves.

    Thanks

I use Light Impressions polyester FoldLock sleeves (product # 21133.) I purchase them at my local photo store. For these sleeves I need to use pages that are designed for sleeved 4x5 negatives or polaroid prints. Be aware there is another common version of the sleeve that is frosted on one side and is designed for transparencies.

For some reason, when my black and white lab gives me my black and white negs in one of those plastic sheets that holds 4 negs, the negs are so tight I can't get them out of the sleeve easily, it seems they are to small for the 4x5 inch negs. These are the clear file brand.

However, my color lab gives me back my 4x5 slides in a single plastic sleeve and these fit perfectly. These sleeves actually unfold so you don't have to slide them out. As I throw away all my bad color transparancies, I save these and put my best black and white negs in them. Unfortunately, these single ones don't have a brand name on them.

Or Vue-All. We have sheets, individual sheets and sometimes rolls.

B&H carries these - search for "negative sleeves", then select 4x5
