Re: Anyone else having problems with KEH?

According to Dan, the board was described as a Cambo board, 123,5mm. Notice that there are more than one possible way to describe one and the same board. The customer doesn't have any duty or reason to make a difference between them - once described as a Cambo board of the right dimension it is entirely just to believe it fits the camera using boards of this dimension.
You suggest complete nonsense - as if KEH were selling 123,5 Cambo board for a non existing camera...
Take the responsibility for your own logical error and don't blame intelligent customers.

But it was NOT described as a board for the Cambo SC. Other KEH boards ARE identified as such.

There is more to model compatibility than size, as Dan pointed out. It was likely not identified as an SC board due to the light trap issue.

If it was made by Cambo and has the stated dimensions then the description was ABSOLUTELY correct.

Any inference regarding model compatibility is just that, an assumption on your part.

I would certainly NEVER insult intelligent customers. But I haven't encountered any in this thread.

If you believe you can, or you believe you can't... you're right.

Try to understand, that there is more than one way to describe a Cambo SC board. You can either state the SC or just its dimension, used only by SC Cambo cameras. There is no Gospel for citing the SC board...

What you suggest is a great disservice done to KEH - as if KEH knew it was not good for Cambo 2x3 camera yet described it in the way that customers could rightly believe it was usable for that camera. That would be fraud on the part of KEH.
