Thanks Bruce I received my "gift". This has got to be a first in photographic publication history, getting the revision as a gift. I like the way you do business, much appreciated.
For those in the LF forum that are wondering what we are talking about, buy a copy of the CD, it's cheap and you will learn something new and additionally, it will improve your photography.

Shortly after this thread started, I checked it out and ordered a CD. Looking forward to many hours of education and fun, once Canada Post gets off its fanny and actually delivers the thing.

Thanks for the gift Bruce. The CD arrived last week (no Canada Post issues) and I had quick look at it. Looks like you added A LOT of illustrations. I look forward to plowing through it again and I am sure it will be even more useful than the first version with your enhancements.

I must comment that gestures like this speak to the type of people that get drawn into large format photography. I have had similar unexpected surprises from guys like Dave Parker, Keith Walklet and Rob Skeoch where they do things above and beyond for their customers. Such business practices are seldom seen, but greatly appreciated.

    Cheers

Thanks Bruce, I received mine the same day I got my present issue of Lenswork with your 'Rigor and Surrender' article in it. I wish I had a copy of Finely Focused when I started large format photography-it would have saved me a LOT of grief. Great work.

Thanks to all for the kind words, they are deeply appreciated.

I just figured out that I've sold enough copies to get all the way up to $1.00-an-hour for the work I've put into it, so it's definitely a labor of love!

For youse people (spoken as one born and raised in Chicagoland) who have it: it's all about the exercises, and especially the "creative-side" ones. I do them myself, learn much even repeating them, and have fun, too.

    Thanks again for your support.
