thanks for the additional information.

If I understand you right, my "p" 8x10" frame with non-metering back is not compatible to the 8x10" metering back (only available for p2). This means, also bellows won't fit?

I thought this problem only occured when upgrading from NORMA systems ...

For the moment I can't afford an 8x10" metering back, but I (sometimes ) use the booster on 4x5". And I can wait ... . So sooner or later I will be caught by this???

Michael,, I know that the 4x5" reducing back for 8x10 Sinar comes in two different sizes and I'm pretty sure the bellows are different to but I could be wrong...
It's been quite a while but at one time I was considering a p2 camera till I found out many of the parts of the "8x10" cameras won't match up... Now the 4x5 metering back and the 4x5 non metering backs are the same other then the probe slot..
I have noticed that many of the people on ebay that sell LF are not very familiar with the items thay list which is why I will only buy there if I know everything there is to know about the product I'm interested in..
