    You can download and try Vuescan (http://www.hamrick.com/) for free, but your scans will have a watermark. At least you'll be able to test against another piece of software to see if the problem is with the scanner or your software.

    Nio Problem , Lee , I dumped my old version of Microtec and reloaded a new one and the problem is still there, I'll look at the tutorial and give Microtec a buzz : if all else fails: Lauren
