Here is one of my first 8x10 images. Shot at Garapata with the 8x10 on FP 4+ developed in Pyrocat-HD.

I've been obsessed with water for as long as i can remember. Here's one:
    135mm, 4x5 velvia, Eastern Sierras.
    Vinny,

I love this one. Almost looks like a painting. Great work!

    Re: Moving Water

Hey, I've really enjoyed all the images and am wondering if I can play ???

OK then, here's one taken a few years ago but printed for the first time this week.

Valley of the Waters, Blue Mountains National Park, NSW Australia

Nikkor SW-90 on Linhof Technika; APX100 in Rodinal

(and yes, it was a bugger keeping some detail in the shadows under the rocks down the right hand side...)

    Cheers from Australia

Still my favorite shot. Did you have it in your recent show? I loved it in San Francisco!

    Thanks!

I used a Betterlight scanning back and their Pano adapter. This works by centering the array (3 pixels wide, 6000 high), and then rotating the camera. I shot without the IR block filter, so that makes the sensor both visible and IR light sensitive (which accounts for the color).

High water flowing over rapids, on the Kettle River in Minnesota. Tachihara 4x5, Fujinon 250mm, Provia 100f, 1/4 sec @ f11 (w/ movements to render everything in focus).
