    view camera workshop

I am doing a large format workshop at the Photographer's Formulary over Labor Day weekend. We will spend part of the time at a local rodeo.

I will cover camera styles and formats, lenses, films, exposure techniques, filters, accessories, etc. We will then spend the rest of the weekend photographing.

    Re: view camera workshop

You've given me the kick in the butt to follow up on an idea to shoot 8x10 portraits of the cowboys at our local rodeo.

Until now, all I've done at the rodeo is a study in movement using DSLR gear. http://www.walterpcalahan.com/Cheers...Know_Bull.html

It would be fun to make LF portraits of our bull riders, like I'm doing for the portraits I'm doing in my Carroll County project, which is done only on 8x10. http://www.walterpcalahan.com/Cheers...County.html#12

Sounds like you'll have a wonderful workshop over Labor Day. Wish I could attend.
When I grow up, I want to be a photographer.
