    These two towers are one of the most interesting examples of the socialist modernism in my city, Katowice, Poland. They were built in an interesting way, first the core was completed, and then each storey was completed on the ground level and lifted up starting with the top one. Captured with the Intrepid Camera, 90mm f8 Fujinon SW and Ilford HP5+.

    My impression is that the towers are broader at the top than at the base. Maybe in such cases one should not fully align the front/back standards with the vertical, and leave a little residual convergence. Any opinions?

    Bernard, I know what you mean, but I do like this effect and for me it is the essence of LF architecture shots, so I don't have any problem with it. It is just an illusion, as the eye is not used to corrected perspective. I think it is a matter of taste, I like paralell lines
