    QTRgui rip green cast

    Hi,
I've used QTRgui on my PC for quite some time, using the curves that are available in the software itself. I have always obtained nice black and white prints, up to now. After I replaced the light magenta ink well last week, in my Epson 2200, my prints have a green cast on them. It is even more noticable when printing a sepia toned image.

Any advice to correct this would be appreciated.

    thanks
    fred

Having had a problem with this on one of my 2400s a year ago, I would suggest running a nozzle check. I finally found that a vent opening on one of the refillable carts had a blockage in my case.

    Good luck.

Thanks for the support. I tried to do the nozzle check, and did the cleaning several times, but the magenta nozzle shows that it stays clogged. Do I repeat the cleaning until it clears up?

I would put some Windex on the pads that the head rests on over night to help soften the dried ink build up, then keep cleaning till it's clear. It could be pretty costly in ink usage but it needs to be done. Once you get it cleaned, run that printer every day at least once.
