    Picked up a Bender 4x5 with an Ilex-Calumet 215mm f/4.8 from craigslist

The rail wobbled a lot in the Bender rail clamp and the threaded insert was set in too deep for my tripod screw to connect securely. Replaced it with the one from my Calumet 45N and it seems very solid.

Cute. Does the viewer contain a magnifier?

    Very nice! Camouflage!

I may need to make a magnifier viewer like yours.

That's absolutely beautiful. I gave someone all my 5x7 holders so I wouldn't be tempted again. Best sheet film format ever! I'm jealous.

Yes, the viewer has a binocular magnifier in the black eyepiece and I find that I am much more accurate when I focus using both eyes.

    Arca Swiss Camera

I've owned a number of 4x5 cameras, and I really enjoy this camera. It's a combination of "good deals" that I've encountered over the years on EBay, at equipment sites, and at swap meets. For example, the Oswald era rear "A" function carrier sits lower than either the standard F or metric carrier, thereby enabling a two inch rise on the front standard. Etc.

This bellows can accommodate 58mm up to 180mm focal length lenses on a flat lensboard. I also have a standard, ribbed bellows for longer lenses.
