    1. Photo of me making a lensboard on my Buffalo drill press, made in 1888, in my cluttered garage.

    2. The camera with a Hyatt's Rapid lens on a homemade lensboard. The front standard has been modified to be able to put almost any lens in front of the Packard Shutter as long as I make an extended lensboard for it. The original front standard is still behind Packard Shutter, and I can put shuttered lenses in it.

    3. My Goerz Red Dot Artar, and my Cooke 12" Series II Portrait lens, both on homemade lensboards. Fot small lenses, I use plastic sheets for the backing. For larger, heavier lenses I use...

    4. Old clipboards.

My Omega 45E on the new surveying tripod. It gets real big. 25 pounds of camera gear isn't very fun to haul around though.

She hasn't gotten much use since February, but I'm still diggin her. The wehman has to be the lightest camera for the money! Plus a feisol pod, hawling this kit around is a pure joy =)

Just as good today as 35 years ago when this was taken.

A recent outing at Watkin's Glen. I was having a bad hair day as is usually the case when I'm under the cloth. Camera is my Anba Ikeda 4x5, a 2-1/2 lb. pleasure to take on long hikes. Photo credited to Steven Bikofsky, whom I met while at the gorge.
