    thanks Frank, its a very solid platform to shoot from, especially when used with the fluid head! I've carried it farther than shown in this picture, but lets just say, its not as lightweight or portable as my former KMV

    No pain no gain. This set up is look so familiar . A 14x17 in camera negative for carbon process is hard to beat . Bravo my friend !

    I generally carry two lenses and one holder in my backpack for the 14x17. I can go a ways from my car but not a great distance.... I'm not that crazy. Still with the tripod I'm hauling about 65-70 lbs. I have been known to carry two holders! The images are worth it. I have to still print this one.
