Looks real nice to me. Have a Grover 5x7 that is all polished aluminum. Really shiny, I bought piece at a time from a moron that parted it out. I would have paid more if he had listed it in one piece.

    They are fine cameras.

I have one of these! I got mine in almost unused condition from a studio in southern Indiana. It's not very heavy for a monorail with all the movements you could want and polished aluminum with a red bellows is, in my humble opinion, rather sexy!

5x7 Linhof Tech III with #5 Ilex electronic shutter

bought the shutter here, found a controller on ebay... had a 254mm Ilex Paragon in barrel that happened to fit as did it's mounting flange (now JB Welded to a lensboard)

got the shutter to mess around with big ol brass lenses I pick up - the Paragon just happened to fit

oh yeah.. made the aperture scale - which is a stop off right now, but I'll fix that

A group of us get together every 6 months to remind Australia that large format photography is exists. This month it was Echuca on the banks of the Murray River.

Actually just sold this one, but it was a beautiful camera... Late '40s Speed Graphic with the 15" Tele-Optar on it. Even had the correct veiwfinder mask .

I have that lens, but have not shot it. I do have a Speed. How did you like the lens and what type of imaging did you use it for?
