Yep,It's a Canham 11x14 I also have the 12x20 conversion. look @ the 2nd century to the right of the Canham , a Semi-Centennial 2a stand( this is the correct stand for the 8a) 8a w/ 11x14 back. Now that's hard to find.That was a good day . complete a 16" wolly velo in studio. a 10" conversion to 7" boards dual-piston packard 4 1/2"hole & a film holder light tight even & all in fine condition Hell I don't even have to cover the bellow when I shoot
I bought it from a fellow that liked things from the 20's . The 1920's that is (wont be long before we need to make the distinction). He put the century#2 stand & 8a camera it in his office & admired it.

Hi all,

This is my first post on the forums and I thought I'd show everyone my fixer-upper, a Toyo 45G! Currently I think it has the 150mm Schneider lens attached, but there is also a Schneider 210mm on the sidelines. When I found the camera, the GG was cracked and the bellows were in a sorry state. I've since replaced the glass but as you can see the bellows are still looking rather sad (pinholes everywhere!)



I will be acquiring a Toyo810G before the new year, so I can't wait! It's also a fixer-upper but I rather enjoy the challenge

Since this thread has become a kind of "porn site for camera freaks" I will show you my sexiest setup. I had a hot eye for this for some 35 years till digital photography made all real cameras next to worthless. My Sinar NORMA 8x10" with a 600 mm Fuji, a Sinar Polarizing filter and a compendium.

You can see my home made packard shutter box. The other big brass lenses all have retaining rings and lensboards but I really wanted to see what this lens could do so I did what any creative person worth their weight in gaffers tape would do...
