My introduction

Hello,

I have now taken 6 whole pictures on Large format camera. In my opinion 4 of those are my 4 best pictures. It amazes me how much fun these cameras are and how much power is in them. I know I have only scratched the surface of what they are capable of and I can't wait to continue my adventure. I still have some kinks to work out like how to take my film in to the lab and how to scan it without spending money I don't have. But for the most part I am incredibly happy with my camera.

I have a Calumet C-400 and a Schnieder Xenar 180 lens. I am excited about my plunge so far. I will appreciate advice and if I can ever post them your advice on shooting as well.

Currently I am shooting color. I have 100 sheets or Echtachrome. So far I have shot 6 sheets. I do plan on grabbing some B/W and developing at home. I am hoping to be able to modify my scanner so I can scan some sheets. If not it is going to be a very long time before I can scan and share.
