I am at a loss for words to express my heartfelt sorrow for your loss. Your husband was always so very helpful and inspirational to countless numbers of established and aspiring photographers as clearly shown through this forum. Even though I never personally met him, his suggestions through email correspondence, through the multitude of questions posed through this forum, and his many articles were every one of such tremendous value and truly showed that he really honestly and unselfishly cared. Ted will be missed. You and your family are in my prayers.

This comes as a shock and a moment of great sadness. I have gotten to know Ted for the last three years and have truly appreciated his friendship. His generosity, kindness and willingness to help others was admirable. A true gentleman. This was again deeply felt during the last gathering just last Saturday. My condolences to you and to all his friends and family. He will live forever in our memories.

As so many have said here, I am shocked and deeply saddened by the loss. Ted was an extremely generous and altruistic man. All who sought his counsel were warmly received.

He was so very helpful and generous to me when I was considering a scanner purchase. He spent a great deal of time explaining all the different aspects and gave every question respect and an informed response. But this was not just how he was with me, this is how he was with everyone. Few people were as patient and gracious as he.

My sincerest condolences go first and foremost to his family and friends, but we are all at a loss with his passing.
