moderate wide angle (110 - 135) lens with best coverage

What is the best moderate wide lens (110 - 135) that gives the best coverage. I just love tilting and shifting. price is kinda an issue, sub $600, but I don't mind if it's older...just as long as the shutter works and the glass is clean.

    Best coverage for what??

The Nikon 120mm SW will cover 8x10.

    The 110XL will basically also.

    The Fuji 120SW covers less.

The Fuji 135mm -W would have lots of coverage for 4x5 and be a fraction of the others in price.

But how much coverage do you really need?

A 121 super angulon should be well under your price. The later multicoated 120 mm model too. Both are a bit large and heavy for regular 4x5 use, but if you need the movements they are a cheap high quality option. I've done a couple of stitched panoramas with my 121, using shift to put two 4x5 frames alongside each other end-to-end.

At the lower ned of the price range there's the plain 120mm Angulon, too. I use both that and a 121mm f:8 Super Angulon, and find the coverage of the smaller lens more than sufficient for 4x5" - in almost every case.

It interesting to see that the old 120 Angulon is listed for 83°, not much wider than a modern "standard" lens like the apo-symmar-L or the apo-sironar-S covering 75°.
    The super-angulon reaches 100°.
To the list we can add the 115mm Rodenstock Grandagon-N, now discontinued and direct competitor to the 120 super angulon, but it is more difficult and more expensive to find a used 115 grandagon than a 121 or a 120 Schneider super angulon.
    So in fact the question is : which angle ? 75 ? 80-85 ? 100-105 ?

The Fujinnon CMW 125 is $635 new, with an image circle of 208mm, ample for landscape. If you can find it used it would be a bargain.

The others listed above are better options, if you need lots of movement.

thanks everyone for the suggestions and help. From a preliminary look the super-Angulons or the Fuji 135 (just because it's cheap) seem like the best options.

what are reasonably prices fo these lenses? used but in good working condition
    - 120 super angulon
    - 121 super angulon
    - Fuji 135mm -W
    - Nikon 120mm SW

the 115mm Rodenstock Grandagon-N seems a bit out of my price range.

Look at KEH, Lens and Repro, Midwest Photo, Igor's to have an idea of fair prices for these used. Ebay or private sale prices are usually less than the prices at dealers.
